Below, you can find commonly asked questions regarding slime purchases, caring for your slime, and more. If your question is not answered here, please do not hesitate to reach out to us here. Warning: Do not ingest slime or borax. Do not use on broken or abraded skin. Wash hands after slime use. Keep away from hair, fabric, and animals. Do not use on porous surfaces as product may cause staining.

MY SLIME IS STICKY, WHAT'S GOING ON?
Depending on several factors, including temperature and humidity, your slime may arrive sticky or become more sticky over time. Keep in mind, a little bit of stickiness is normal, and slime sticking to your wrists or in between your fingers is normal for certain kinds of slime. However, if your slime is stickier than this or you want it to be harder, you can add more activator. Make the borax based slime activator with the borax provided in your order, or you can use your own. For instructions on how to make the activator, please read the Slime FAQ Sheet provided in the SLIME 101 tab above.

MY SLIME HAS HARDENED, HOW CAN I FIX IT?
Slime can harden up if it's not kept in a completely closed container, or had too much activator added. You can try adding some water and lotion to soften up your slime. Simply add small amounts at a time and massage and knead it into the slime. If you find that this doesn't work at all, your slime be may dried out beyond repair. Slime is an expandable product that has a limited life span, depending on use and care.
MY SLIME IS TEARING WHEN I PULL IT. HELP!
Many slime recipes will tear when you pull slime very quickly. Depending on the viscosity of the slime, you will find different speeds either tear or stretch the slime indefinitely. The fun of slime is seeing how different slimes react to these types of tensions!
HOW LONG WILL MY SLIME LAST?
Your slime should last you a very long time, as long as you take good care of it! We recommend storing your slime in a cool place, away from direct sunlight. Wash your hands before and after playing with your slime to help slow down the growth of bacteria in your slime. Slime is a water-based object, meaning that eventually, it will lose it's moisture, get dirty, or need to be thrown out. However, it can last for months with proper care. Enjoy!
MY SLIME GOT DIRTY, WHAT DO I DO?
You can try washing off your slime or picking out anything that got in it. Small dust and other spots are usually unavoidable to pick up unless you're playing on a very clean surface every single time.
I HAVE ALLERGIES AND/OR I AM INGREDIENT CONSCIOUS. WHAT IS IN YOUR SLIME?
Do not play with our slime if you have allergies to detergents, borax, air-dry clay, styrofoam, plastic, instant snow powder, glue, food coloring, pigments, lotion and fragrances that are used in our products. All our slimes are made with school grade craft supplies, however, please wash hands before and after playing with slime. DO NOT EAT SLIME.
WHAT AGES CAN PLAY WITH SLIME?
Slime is great for most ages and especially therapeutic to teenagers and adults! We recommend ages 8 and up for slime, however, if the intended recipient will not try to eat slime (even scented slime), then the judgment is certainly up to you.
I GOT SLIME ON MY CLOTHES!
Try to scrape off as much slime as possible and then wash the clothes in hot water as soon as possible. There are many resources on the internet for removing glue-based slime from fabrics if you're looking for specific methods.
WHAT WILL COME WITH MY SLIME ORDER?
All packages come with the items that you've purchased, extra(s), and your very own slime care instructions. We are not responsible for ruined products when directions were not followed. Do not add the candy or toys to your slime. A surprise discount on your next purchase.
Do I have to pay for shipping?
Yes, shipping cost is calculated at checkout and added to your cart.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is calculated when you check out. The cost will depend on how much you buy and where you live.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. Shipping costs are calculated and shown to you before checkout. Customers are responsible for any customs or import fees.
When will I get my order?
Your order will be shipped out within 5 business days after your purchase, except for special sales like Black Friday or Cyber Monday, or holiday seasons, which may take a bit longer. This means that we will give your package to the Post Office to deliver in that time. This does not mean you will receive your package within that time. You will receive a shipping notification with a tracking number when it ships.
I PLACED MY ORDER, BUT NEVER GOT THE AUTOMATED EMAIL CONFIRMING MY ORDER?
You may have made a typo in your email address. Please contact us using our contact form, and include your name and what you ordered.
IS YOUR SITE SAFE TO USE MY CREDIT CARD ON?
Yes! Our site is operated through e-commerce Squarespace and all payments are processed through Stripe. Stripe is PCI-DSS compliant for your payments and accepts all major credit cards. We also accept Apple Pay.
Do you use Borax in your slimes?
Yes. I have found that it makes the best slimes.
We do request that no one with allergies to chemicals buy our slimes, but for most people taking proper precautions, (don't ingest it, don't breathe in the dust, wear gloves if you're sensitive) the tiny amount of borax in slime is not harmful, per research.
How do I make Borax Solution/Activator?
With your order, you were provided with a pre-measured bag of borax. The amount in the bag is 1/2 tsp. Add this amount to 1/2 cup of hot water and make sure the entire mixture dissolves in the water. You now have a slime activator that you can use to reduce the stickiness of your slime, if necessary. Make sure you only add a little bit of activator at a time. You may only need a few drops.
Where do you buy your containers/scents/ingredients/glitters/etc?
We spend a lot of time searching for our supplies and containers. You can find most of our items in small quantities by searching for yourself. However, we buy in bulk, so our suppliers wouldn't be able to sell the small amounts most persons need.
PAYMENTS, RETURNS, AND POLICIES
Can I have free slime?
No, we do not send out free slime.
Can I order if I'm under 18?
By making a purchase, you affirm that you are of legal age to be making a purchase, or have a parent's permission to do so. We cannot accept cancellations, as we make our slime according to demand, so please don't order and then ask to cancel because you didn't have permission.
Can you hold slimes for me?
No, the store is “first come first serve.” It would not be fair to others involved if we did that.
Why are your slimes so "expensive"?
We work very hard to make a great quality slime for you, made with the best quality ingredients that we can get. We don't use the cheapest glue or add-ins, and it shows in our finished product. We also spend a lot on our containers and packaging, rather than use a poor quality product. We produce videos that introduce the slimes to you and show you how to care for them properly. Our slimes are priced fairly so that we can continue to provide this great product and service to you.
Can I pay cash?
No, we only accept cash in the store.
What do I do if something is wrong with my order?

What is your return policy?
All sales are final.
RETURNS & CANCELLATIONS
Due to the handmade nature of our product, all orders are final sale.
Cancellations must be requested within 3 hours of placing your order. We begin production of your order immediately and are unable to cancel orders once the production process has started.
We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages. If you feel as though your package has been lost or stolen, please contact the shipping provider (USPS). If they are unable to locate your package, please contact Customer Service. We will file a claim with the shipping provider and reissue your order.
All orders are shipped via USPS. Shipping rates are calculated by USPS.
The slime package was broken when I got it, what can I do?
We package your orders very carefully, but can't guarantee how the postal service will handle them, or that they won't freeze in winter weather. (Frozen slime is fine, just let it thaw completely before playing with it) Please consider adding insurance to your order to protect in case of breakage. And keep all parts of your order and packaging, as well as pictures showing the breakage, plus pictures of the front, back, and inside of the package. These will be needed for your insurance claim if you've purchased insurance.
When do you restock?
The shop restocks are random as of now but will be announced on our Instagram, @slimeworld.ca.

We love to see reviews of any of our slimes that are purchased through our website, SlimeWorld! Please make sure to tag us in them and using the hashtag #SlimeWorld.ca. We do not send out free slimes for review.
